RIP Eliana
Eliana died yesterday, at age 18, from malnutrition. Her sister, Luisel, died in August, also from malnutrition.
RIP, and my condolences to her family.
And as much as people like to shift blame away from the fashion industry for eating disorders, something needs to be done before more and more girls fall down dead.

Whether or not the modelling industry can be blamed for anorexia in "regular" girls is debateable, but it's certain that something must be done to save the models. It's gotten to the point where they're getting as skinny as is humanly possible, and for their sake more so than anyone else's, something should be done to remove that pressure.
